Georgia {Sweet As A Peach} Baby Shower

This beautiful mama to be is Nina. She and her hubby are expecting their sweet her little girl GEORGIA very soon.  I was very happy when I was asked to help with her office surprise baby shower. She is always the one doing everything for everyone and it was nice to finally do something special for her.
I LOVE Georgia's nursery colors of peach, teal, yellow, and gray and used them as inspiration. No pink for this little peach!
For the backdrop I created a "Georgia" faux chalkboard print and attached it to a backless frame I found at Michaels. Added ribbon and then glued it onto a foam board along with some tissue flowers. Found this great tutorial on how to make the tissue flowers here.
Mama to be made the BEAUTIFUL quilt for her baby! Isn't it gorgeous?!

Our sweet coworker ordered the adorable cake from her friend.
Found these tini tiny fabric covered favor jars at Michaels. The fabric and twine is included with the jars but I also covered them with peach tulle to add some girly. Filled them with pastel colored mints. The ladies loved them!
I purchased the "G" from Land of Nod and hot glued some flowers to it. I found an easy peasy lace flower DIY here.
You all know I LOVE me some cuteness. I  truly enjoyed putting together this tini clothesline for sweet Georgia. Every little girl needs some lace, ruffles, and tutus right?!
Can't forget about the cute accessories too (flowered headbands and GORGEOUS gold shoes!).
Little girls are soooo much fun!!
Nina was super surprised. She had us all in tears.
I made these "Sweet Baby Girl" printable table signs. Added a little bit of ruffled trim and a little bitty flower to the onesie.
Gotta love Target! They had these peach buckets in their dollar spot. Perfect for the flower centerpieces.

I am so glad I still remembered how to make a diaper cake.  Had not made one in a LONG time! I used diapers, a receiving blanket, ruffled lace trim, satin ribbon, a little bit of tulle and paper flowers to make Georgia's diaper cake. Leave me a comment if you are interested in a tutorial on how to replicate it.
Our friend Lacey helped with this funny game. I did not win...hehe!
Congratulations Nina and Jason. Can't wait to meet your little peach.

xoxo,
Claudia

Claribel's "Little Man" Baby Shower

A couple weeks ago I had the honor of helping Rose with her sister's baby shower. I have know both Rose and Claribel for over 25 years. Needless to say they are both more than friends they are my sisters  too.
Choosing a theme for "Mrs. Little" was a no brainer once we were told that The Littles were expecting a little handsome.  Of course it had to be a "Little Man" baby shower. Rose picked the colors of yellow, gray, and blue. I absolutely loved her choice and had a great time working with both the colors and the theme.

Because the baby shower was held at nice quaint restaurant we decided to keep the dessert table small but sweet.
J At Your Service made this ADORABLE banner! It could not be more perfect....right?!
These beautiful candy apples and "Little Man" cookies were made by the talented Roni of Roni Sugar Creations. Aren't they just gorgeous?!
The table also included "It's a Boy" gum cigars, yummy rice crispy treats and cute stache chocolates made by Samantha from Sweets by Sam. Added tini ties to the rice crispy treats and everywhere else I could...hehe!
We hung a tini little man clothesline from the sweets table.
I created a special faux chalkboard to welcome the "Little" one to the world. I used color chalk on the print to give it some color, this is a great budget friendly way to add color to your prints.
Found the cutest little bow tie and mustache earrings to give to all the guests as favors. Created a matching earring holder that read "It's the LITTLE things that make life BIG". The ladies loved them!
I also made all the guest little ties that they could wear. I found a great tutorial on how to make them here
The guests were asked to write some useful advice for the parents to be. The advise was pinned on the little man mannequin. Awesome advise table sign from Three Little Monkeys Studio. Gretchen was so sweet, she changed the colors to match the shower.

Made props for some photo fun.

Guests tables were set with gray runners, flowers, and "LITTLE baby, big BLESSING"table signs.
Each place setting included the menu, mustache rings,  embellished straws (bow tie, mustache, or glasses) and this brilliant "Name The Stache" game also made by Three Little Monkeys Studio.
The ladies loved the adorable straws because not only were they fun to drink out of but they also doubled as props. J At Your Service made the fancy bow tie and mustache straws.  I found the glasses at Michaels and my hubby spray painted them gray for me. Because he is cool like that.
We enjoyed Rose's lovely cupcakes as we played games.
Our sweet friends Denise and Annabelle helped us with the games. Which included "What size is the mommy's tummy" "Baby Scrabble" and "Guess how many in the baby bottle".
And of course the "Little Mama" opened all her wonderful and beautiful gifts.
It was such a sweet day. Claribel was surrounded by her closest friends and family. Everyone made it extra special for her. They showed her and her little man lots and lots of love.  We all can't wait to meet the new "Little" bundle of joy!

Congratulations my sweet amiga. We cannot even express how happy we are for you and Nate.  May God bless your "Little Man" with happiness and love always.

Love,
Claudia

Uncommon Goods Review

Those of you that know me well, know that this mama loves to shop, especially online. Nothing better than shopping in your jammies...right?! I love stores that provide a little bit of everything for everyone and offer fantastic products. Well this is exactly why Uncommon Goods is my kind of online store!

Uncommon Goods has hundreds of unique items. They make it their mission to provide a platform for artists and designers. In fact half of what they sell is made by hand (gotta love that!). Most products are created right here in our beautiful USA.

As an independently owned business, they have the freedom to support causes they believe in and impact the world in a positive way. I LOVE that with every purchase you make, they donate $1.00 to the non-profit of your choice. Since they started the "Better to Give" program 12 years ago, they have donated over $700,000 to charities around the world. Amazing.

No surprise that I was super happy for the opportunity of reviewing some of their wonderful products. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing, because let me tell you there is lots and lots of cuteness to choose from!

I decided on the "Sweet Dreams Pillow Case Set" for our love cave. Aren't they just dreamy??! I can't tell you how much I love them! I think they look super sweet on our bed.

I think they would also make a lovely wedding or bridal shower gift. Check out more wedding gifts here.

Next I chose a Chakra Bath Salts Set. Seven different tubes of bath salts are included in the set, enough to salt your Chakras from crown to root! Chakras represent the seven specific energy centers found in your body. This set addresses each point to provide you with balance and inner peace.

Love the packaging and each & every tube of the salts smells beyond delicious. This is what every mama needs after a long, long day. Check out more gift ideas for ladies here.

Lastly, I ordered this ADORABLE "Mustachifier" for my besties little man. We were planning her "Little Man" baby shower and when I saw this cuteness I could not resist. Mama to be LOVED it too.

As you must know by now, I am obsessed with all things tini. The Uncommon Goods kiddies collection does not disappoint. Check out the whole kids collection here.

Also ladies do not forget to check out the Jewelry collection here. They have some really nice pieces.

So overall I give Uncommon Goods two thumbs up as I am sure you all would too. Go check them out and come back leave a comment on what great find YOU discovered.

XOXO,
Claudia
